When I first met Piotrek at work, from the very beginning he talked incessantly about the mountains. He often mentioned in conversations about a trip to the highest mountain of Austria, but for me it somehow seemed unreal for a few reasons - I lack a lot of equipment, and this implies a high cost of such a trip. This simply means I couldn't afford it. Then the Intersport gave us a chance - they sponsored us with some needed equipment. For me it was invaluable help, and Piotr didn't complain also :). The trip was planned two months before: completing all needed equipment, sharing it with other tour participants, etc.

At least this entry with the guide still we felt stage fright and light fear. All over behind experience captured in our and Slovak Tatra mountains none of us could sie with nothing large to approve. Before the planned date for the departure we chose the month oneself to the small trekking into the Tatra mountains - Scratches and these matters. It gave us some image of our form and it reminded that it there would still be more heavily.

When brought closer sie the date of a departure and everything were already settled and purchased everyone we looked nervously at weather forecasts. Fortunately everything announced that we could just afford the exit 3 day weather window. We moved the height of the optimism from Katowice toward Austria. The way passed without problem. Short accommodation in the car on the car park kolo 3 in the morning and after 2 hours farther into the route. On the spot we were wheel 12. Perfect weather and from the car park, on which we repacked ourselves one could already see our purpose of the expedition. After the certain time clouds covered the white peak up so not waiting we gathered and we set off to our base which the Studlhutte hostel was at 2800 m level. n.p.m., that is before 800 of us m of exceeding. Kind of little but from almost 20 kg with rucksack, is doing his job. At the top quickly it turned out that it was necessary sie to prepare mentally to the bulk of the snow. In very hostel we were wheel 18 - 19 and a superb view greeted us to the strip Taurów with the sun setting behind them. Quickly we went to bed because he is awaiting the next day of us attack on the peak and it is necessary early to get up. Wake-up at hour 6, fast repacking and we are setting off on a journey. There was a cold at first enough but a mood corrected the view of the clear sky and at once it was getting more warmly. At first straight through the glacier to the foot of a mountain, where we started traversing approach. A dozen or so minutes of the sharp work with a kind of flute, then piece poręczówek and we were already at 3200 m level. n.p.m. at Erzh.Johann-Hutte. There after all we repacked ourselves into the finish of the attack on the peak so that the excess of the thing didn't disturb us on the technical edge. So tense we moved the rope for the peak. Super weather. Somewhere farther they are moving sie some clouds but complete harmless. Views are washing the breath in the breast. One can see at once, that Tatra mountains in addition it is a piece of cake. We passed the quite heavy weir after the short glacier and we went the edge up. There after some time we reached to south przełączki. There it was necessary to stay calm. Half a one-metre long breadth snowy path with chasms of the row of 500 m around in of two sides. He is feeling. Later still piece of the technical ridge and we were on the peak. This briefly described piece took 3 hours for us.

At the top it covered a little up more low but also this way the view on the evident north side was clouds which we could see remarkable. A few photographs, moment's peace by the tea and the bar of chocolate and we are starting going downstairs. Wonders never cease! at Erzh.Johann-Hutte it turned out that we had gone down this many how many we entered that is 3 hours. After poręczówkach and for rolling up the safety rope a bit we partitioned ourselves because the part went with one's rapid pace. Later sie showed, that one of co-companions of the departure - Piotrek fell sie in narrow crack up to belt but nothing fortunately didn't happen. In the hostel we were wheel 19. Hot meals and wheel 22 each of us already slept. Of next day the weather farther was super and in the same humours we went down with the same road to the car park.

We regard the trip too much good. Everything finished writing - the weather, the mountain and the company. For me unaided it would be Intersportu unattainable, what I am very grateful by. We are also greeting remaining from the team and the wonderful guide a Himalayan mountaineer and the mountain climber of Tomek Kobielski. As regards plans next time - Mt. Blanc and Monte Dew to be perhaps in the summer next year. If he is let us see. For seeing on the trail!
